Safety

Safety takes top priority in all our operations.

We strive to provide a safe working environment for our staff, our subcontractors, and the public alike on our construction sites and in our offices.

We develop health and safety plans for each of our sites.

We are Certificate Of Recognition (COR®) certified by the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association. We’ve developed our own Safety program that exceeds the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety.

Our Safety Personnel who oversee our safety program are National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certified.

Quorex Safety Award Program acknowledges and celebrates our staff’s commitment to Safety. Certificates and awards are distributed during our Safety Award Lunches held regularly at each of our job sites and offices, with safety awards to celebrate the safe hours worked.

Managing Covid-19

Health & Safety take top priority in all our operations on site and in our offices. During the pandemic, a Covid-19 policy was developed and incorporated into our Health and Safety policies and was clearly reflected in our Health & Safety Manuals.

Steered by our Health & Safety Committee, these policies were continuously updated to comply with the current public health orders and were tailored for each site to meet our Clients specific safety rules.

Quorex remains proactive in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are still enforcing some tracing and cleaning policies (site sign-in logs, hand washing, hand sanitizing, etc.) with restrictions of no symptomatic employees on any of our sites or offices.
