The project consisted of a renovation to the existing Navcan building and a new MTF airside building that consisted of 35,000 ft2 of rental space for airside activities. As the project progressed another building was added, NPS-V for airside security. The MTF building is located adjacent to the RCMP Building, Firehall Building and Main Terminal, and NPS-V building was Airside. The MTF building was designed with large overhead doors to accommodate airport equipment including commanders. Large upper windows were introduced to bring in natural light as well complimentary colors to accent the building.
