Complete interior renovation to the main floor (9,526 sq.ft) of the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology building in Saskatoon, SK, including all mechanical and electrical systems.
The renovated floor is home to the very first Indigenous Innovation Accelerator of its kind in Saskatchewan. The Accelerator aims to provide skill-building, experiential and land-based learning, and mentorship opportunities for innovators of all ages – all while having their dreams supported, in a space that emphasizes culture, language, and kinship by providing access to traditional knowledge keepers and Elders. The Indigenous Innovation Accelerator works to empower, mentor, and support the next generation of Indigenous innovators and entrepreneurs in Saskatchewan.
