The Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque is a unique facility, one that allows the Muslims to join in prayer and fellowship.  Construction of the Mosque was completed over a 14 month construction duration that included a 32,500 ft2 building complete with concrete foundations, full height ICF concrete walls and a flat roof system.  The exterior of the building was completed with an EFIS stucco finish to the exterior walls and the domes were built with a stainless steel metal clad finish.  The interior of the building includes a full size Gymnasium for social functions and exercise programs, as well as several other uses in the community.  It also has a 7,000 ft2 prayer hall.  The centre portion of the building includes a two-storey area that has change rooms, a kitchen, classrooms, a boardroom and administration areas.  The building also includes a grey water recycling system, a full back up electrical generator and in-floor heat to provide better comfort to the building.
