This project involved pre-construction budgeting in order to establish a fundraising target. Once the fundraising target was achieved the project moved into construction. The project involved the construction of a 26,600 sq. ft. wood framed 3 story structure with a basement. This structure was tied into the existing building. Once the new construction was complete the existing facility was renovated. All construction was done while the facility remained fully operational. As a charitable organization, significant donations were provided by trades and suppliers by way of cash and/or gift–in kind.
